Lava Lamp

A poem in the shape of a lava lamp that reads as follows: Being authentic, Is not an easy task. It seems like it is basic, But it can be a lot to ask. I shed the mask that I use, Finally allowing myself to be. No longer making any excuse, So that my light is finally free. Letting go of shame and fear, Learning to be proud instead. Even though life isn't clear, I will hold up my head. Accepting who I am, Is just the first act. I must see the sham, So I am not backtracked. The sham that tells us to blend, And hide what makes us unique. If we want the arguing to finally end, Our truths we must be willing to speak.

Like a lava lamp, we can find a fun way to brighten the world. It all starts by being Authentic to ourselves, which is difficult in a world that often values conformity over individuality. We must let go of shame and fear, embrace our unique qualities, and resist the pressure to conform to societal norms. Only then will we be able to find peace and end the cycle of arguments and conflict, making life a brighter place for all.
