Tapestry of Moments
To me, life is a canvas, vast and wide,
A tapestry of moments, side by side.
Its edges fray, its colors sometimes dim,
Yet every thread, every hue, is a hymn.
It’s a song of joy, a lullaby of pain,
A symphony of sunshine, and of rain.
Some notes are clear, others hard to trace,
Yet every one is in its right place.
Like pages in a book yet to be read,
Or stories that live inside of our head.
We weave our tales, some bitter, some sweet,
Each step we take makes our heart complete.
The journey’s not just about the end,
But every twist, every turn, and every bend.
For in the search, the seeking, the quest,
We find our essence and become our very best.
Life is an adventure, wild and free,
A dance of fate and destiny.
I choose to embrace it, come what may,
For in its rhythm, I find my way.
I’ve decided to expand my horizons beyond just shapes. I have so much to say, and I don’t want to limit myself to what looks nice on the page. As I continue my writing journey, I continue to find my voice. I realize there is another side of me that I haven’t seen before. I’d like to capture and share many moments within my tapestry of life with the world. I want to bottle up the little moments of light and beauty and immortalize them so that they can be a beacon in the darkness that tends to cast shadows on the internet.
December is coming up, which will be the anniversary of starting this page. A year of sharing my writing with the world as a way to break out of the shell built by my comfort zone. I started this page not only to share moments of my life and to break out of my shell, but also to help me grow as a writer and as a person. I look forward to continuing this incredible journey and seeing how further sharing my writing will benefit me and those in my life.
